We were delighted to discover Magdalena Cocina Creativa in our search for a Sunday brunch in San Juan. The environment was peaceful, the food tasty, and the staff very kind and helpful. Valet parking was an asset. Highly recommended!

This is honestly the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. We brought a big group in for a work dinner. While the restaurant was very accommodating to our reservation, the place was completely empty on a Friday night. We had a private room with a server that didn't seem like he'd ever been a server before. Water and drink glasses were empty constantly. We were there 45 minutes before the server got through 12 drink orders, and drinks came out and sat empty before we were asked to order appetizers (that was over an hour in). The flow was pretty rough. In addition, the food was so hit or miss, including being served rancid shrimp. Some food had a wild amount of salt and others didn't have salt at all. The restaurant messed up our bill twice (it was all on one and was a party of 12). It took almost 3.5 hours for a dinner without dessert with lagging service. I was embarrassed for them. The restaurant said they had some extenuating circumstances and while I understand, I will not be returning or recommending.

We went there for lunch and it was a little quiet but overall had a very enjoyable experience. Edwin, our server was friendly and very attentive. The food was also very good including the cocktails. The chuleton was my favorite. They had a very good wine selection. Overall, it was a very good experience.

We had a lovely birthday dinner here with my family of 4. The food was delicious, I had the salmon special and it was the best salmon I've had since I lived in Seattle. The place is very relaxing and calm. Also valet parking so that was easy. Thank you!

Wonderful service since you open their door. The quality of the ingredients on every dish we ordered was noticeable. Definitely returning soon.

We had a wonderful time. The space is very comfortable. Our server, Demmes, was a delight- very knowledgeable and kind. The food was delicious (yellow tuna, trout, and lamb entrees). Don’t forget to save room for the chocolate soufflé! Will definitely return.

Wonderful first visit for a friend’s birthday celebration. Very nice location and access, the staff is excellent and accommodating and one of the owners took care of us personally. The food was exquisite. Will definitely return.
