   We came here for a Friends with Forks event (a social foodie club in Portland). I had never been here before and was surprisingly pleased. When I first walked in, the place was beautiful and they had a table all set for us in the back. Loved everything and very reasonably priced. Service was wonderful too. restaurant had a wonderful interior.

   Loved the small plates and sides! We have a vegetarian eggplant main which was a little disappointing. Good cocktails & really lovely servers.

   I love this restaurant - casual, hip, energetic vibe. However, our meals there have been inconsistent. The 3 piece mezze is not enough of a starter for 3, and we ran out of of Syrian bread points long before the appetizers were gone. On Sat. 7 Dec. ‘24, the house white wine tap had kicked so we had to opt for a more expensive pour, though I feel we should have been comped. The waitress was unfamiliar with the wine list and had to read a cheat sheet to make a replacement recommendation. The bar itself, however, is top notch, although I would prefer that they swap out their IPA choice periodically. The Lamb n pork ragu was awesome though subtle. I could have easily eaten 2 portions however. The gyro is always spot on. The biggest surprise was the Chicken Parros. I highly recommended it to my wife, as mine, a month ago, was fabulous. Hers was way overdone - we’re talkin’ overcooking a chicken thigh! It was pretty chilly inside as well - only one non-kitchen employee had on short sleeves. Will I go back? YES. I just think consistency should be the goal

   Definitely order the chicken lemon soup! And a gyro! Greek salad was not the official green salad yet still tasty with good oil e oil and superb creamy feta Too many green olives in salad and they don't go in gyros The Mezze could be presented better with the dips. Served on parchment paper on tray with blobs of toppings. Bowls and spreaders would be more appealing Atmosphere cute but it's super cold with the big 4 garage doors as walls. Half curtains or something to keep out draft would make it more comfortable.

   The restaurant is comfortable and decorated nicely. The music was too loud to have conversation. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress brought us menus and we were able to order drinks and apps. Once we ordered it took a long time for the food to come out. Our waitress was outstanding and the food was good. Do wish there were at least one or two kid friendly options like a grilled cheese or pasta.

    We went for an early dinner mid-week. Almost all tables were taken which we took to be a good sign. We had a splendid meal and will be back. Michaela was our server and she was cheerful, speedy and attentive. Food was excellent and the vibe was perfect. What a find! Well done Magissa,
