   Service was good although our had to cover the bar as well as wait tables. I had the short rib ravioli and it was very good. My wife had the shrimp carbonara and wasn’t impressed. For $28 I expected more than 3 shrimp. The dish was mostly pasta.

   We chose to try this restaurant based on good Open Table reviews, despite very mixed reviews from other sources. There is definitely potential here but things were off. We were concerned to find the place more than half empty at 7 pm on a Saturday night. We started with the antipasti platter and while some items were good like the cheeses, the meats tasted old and the color and texture were off. They were out of two of the six or so red wines by the glass. The advertised “craft” cocktails were not inventive or fresh tasting. We split a chopped salad and it was perfectly fine though needing salt. The entrees were lasagna and shrimp carbonara. The portions were plentiful but the lasagna was lacking in flavors like garlic and Italian seasonings. The shrimp needed more seasoning as well although the pasta itself was cooked well. Overall, a mediocre experience that felt like it could and should have been better for the cost. Disappointing for sure. I hope the owners can reevaluate and turn things around.

   We had a very nice experience at Villa Magnolia. I ordered the salmon, my husband ordered the chicken piccata and my son ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. We all enjoyed our dishes. They brought out a chicken parm by mistake for my husband and gave it to us to take home, which we thought was a nice gesture.

   We’ve recently found this place and it’s become an instant add to our restaurant rotation. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, good and reasonably priced food.

   We have been regulars at MV since its opening at the Mill on the Etowah The owners are wonderful folks who work at ALL their restaurants, LOCAL ON NORTH, THREE ROSES AND MAGNOLIA VILLA Food and service at ALL 3 is outstanding We've traveled literally world wide & the pasta dishes here can hold their own with any Italian cuisine This is a hidden gem, better enjoy before the world discovers it If you got time, come early and shop at the mill and stay late at the outdoor venue that may have music, movies and more for date night or family event too ! Ice skating going on now Just had Christmas Market Mr T

   We always have great experiences at Magnolia Villa. Went for New Year's eve early and the food was great. The Caesar Salad is always good, the cherry bread pudding is fantastic, and they have the best Chicken Parm in the area. Chloe did a great job serving us.

   Rick did a phenomenal job taking care of us tonight. Our family was a party of 9 and service was perfect. Highly recommend!
