Welcome to Mahalo, created by Canadian sisters Emma & Brit, located in the heart of Casco Viejo, what began as a dream, became a reality. Mahalo Panama, opened July 1st 2016, and the concept was simple, healthy food, promoting healthy living, and providing a space for people to feel comfortable, as if in your own backyard. Mahalo has since branched into two locations, maintaining the original location as a juice bar under the name of Snack Shack, and the new Mahalo Cocina y Jardin with a slightly more intimate cozy setting offering an international menu with the same healthy base. Since opening Mahalo has been seen in Vogue, GQ, Conde Naste Traveler, Lonely Planet and more.

Had an amazing brunch at Mahalo . The food was delicious and service excellent . I had the Sweet and Salty Toast and a Caesar to drink, it was all excellent . The restaurant has a great atmosphere and a lovely garden area with outside seating. Will definitely be back . Would highly recommend.

We had the experience of dining in the outdoor garden which was lovely and cozy for our family of 4. The ambiance was great, and the staff was attentive. The service was excellent, every dish that we ordered ( as well as the drinks) was cooked perfectly. We highly recommend and will visit again when returning to Panama City, Panama.

We’ve been twice already during our visit and loved it both times. I had the French toast which was delicious and also had the Sicilian toast, also very delicious. Both times I had a side of bacon, cooked to perfection. The sangria and frose is really good as well. Must try if you’re visiting or in the Casco Viejo area!

We reserved a table of six. They hosted us even though we arrived 15 minutes earlier. I love this restaurant. It is cozy and well maintained. The services are always top-notch, and the food and drinks are on point. I would recommend getting in here and trying all their specialties.

Absolutely loved this restaurant, the food was excellent as were the cocktails. Beautiful outside garden. The decor inside is very tastefully done. The servers very friendly and spoke good English. Lots to choose from on the menu. Plenty of vegetarian options. Will definitely go back!
