This was the worst experience ever! We made reservations a month in advance. Our seating was not the best along with a couple who was celebrating their anniversary and another couple celebrating the husbands birthday. We all requested a change but the request was only granted to one couple because the wife said she “write reviews for yelp” The other couple left in disgust. 2 other couples after us requested to move and both Ms request was granted. We spoke to 3 different managers and give 3 different excuses. Our food didn’t arrive til 1.5 hours later. All other people that arrive at 5 had eaten and left. My friend’s, the birthday girl, steak was rare and she requested medium well. The lamb chops were tough. We asked for napkins and condiments and never got them. The last manager comped some beignets and we didn’t even touch them. Our bill was wrong. So disappointed cause I love the other Mahogany. This has deterred me from frequenting either ever again.

It was nice, and the ambiance was cool. It took a little minute for the server to come over. BTW: Jared was really sweet. However, the presentation was nice but the food was really bland. I had a medium well steak, and it was running too much for my liking. My friend ordered his well done, and he seemed to enjoy it until he came across a piece that tasted like soap, which, through the mood off. Hopefully, if I decide to visit again, the experience will be better.

Went to brunch with my mom and family. Excellent service. Food was tasty.

Overall, the experience could have been a lot better. For the $238 I spent for a nice dinner, I felt like I could have had a much grander experience at other restaurants. The discerning experience began upon arriving at the restaurant and talking to security at the checkpoint. Asking in a cold and authoritative tone if I had a reservation, what time, and my name. It felt like being "processed" to visit an inmate in prison. Another glaring area of concern was being served a bottle of red wine in a champagne chilling bucket with champagne flutes. I had to request the wine not be chilled and wine glasses. The waitress brought back cognac snifters. After ordering and waiting an hour to receive food, I have to say it was hot and delicious. There was some confusing dialogue with the waitress about what items on the menu were available. If I return, I may try lunch or an early dining time during the week. The late weekend crowd resembled a nightclub/lounge customer base.

Great food and ambience with beautiful views of the river. Nice place to celebrate an occasion or take guests from out of town.

The waitress was not very attentively. We had to repeatedly ask for more water. She never stopped to see if we needed anything. We had to flagged her each time we needed something. I don’t think she deserved the included 20% gratuity.

Omg. This was the best night ever. I’ve ate at the first location and it was good but the new one blew my mind. Don’t listen to any mixed reviews! This place is DAMN good. I will definitely be back. And the aesthetics…. Chefs kiss!
