Maie Day is bringing prime time to South Congress Ave every Friday lunch, from 11AM-3PM, or ‘til sold out!* Enjoy a thick slice of famous wagyu prime rib with au jus and horseradish cream for $19, sliced hot & to order by Chef Michael Fojtasek from Maie Day’s premier tableside prime rib cart. Add on creamed kale and mashed potatoes for $8 each for a full plate. Dig in while you jam along to live music by Austin’s own Grateful Dead tribute band, Fennario Flats and save room for a Gimme Burger: the full brunch and bar menu is available to order, too.     espresso martinis were spot on, shrimp and grits, not so much, they chop up the shrimp in little pieces and the grits were somewhat bland. the loaded queso and chips were good, bacon is SUPER thick and fatty. Fruit was fresh. Hash BRUNCH dish was ok. Nothing mind blowing, prob wont be back

    Annie was a great waitress! Just pleasant to be around! Our food was delicious. The steak was buttery soft. So easy to cut and and so easy to chew. Seasoned very well! The cocktail beverages were delicious, but filled with so much ice. I felt like I barely got any drink because there was so much. I would like to come again though because of the service and food. Drinks were delicious, just needed less ice.

    It was fine. Burger was very salty. Other brunch dishes were more or less average. The pancakes were pretty good though! Service left a lot to be desired though- waiter would disappear for a while and then promised that a food would be without one of the ingredients my friend was allergic to, and then provided the dish with the allergen ingredient in there. Nice ambience though.

    Nice place. Food was pretty good, Green Beans were undercooked. Fries were delicious. Not sure if I would go back, but service was great!

    Most of my party had hamburgers. They weren’t impressive. They were all overcooked, dry. Service was very attentive. She was really good

    Our meal was delicious but so many items that we wanted to try were unavailable for a 8 pm Sat. Night reservation. This was disappointing. Good food and vibe and we’d come back.
