Main Street Bistro and Bakery combines French elegance with a casual dining experience in the heart of Historic Downtown Grapevine. Our dinner service boasts some of our favorite French dishes like Mussels and Duck Confit and American classics like Short Ribs and Shrimp and Grits. Enhance your dining experience with a signature cocktail or a glass of Bordeaux. And don’t forget to try one of our famous desserts, handcrafted daily by our Executive French Pastry Chef!

We serve Weekend Brunch Saturday and Sunday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Brunch is available for walk-ins and waitlist only; no reservations for Weekend Brunch.

The service was professional and unobtrusive. The wine selection is very good. I had a very nice cote-du-Rhône, my wife had an excellent Pinot Grigio. We ordered the shrimp and calamari appetizer. It came with 2 dipping sauces. The breading was not well adhered. Both the shrimp and calamari were just a bit bland and there was a dissatisfying amount of tasteless vegetables included. The dipping sauces were tasty. The crab cake was Excellent. One of the best I’ve ever had. The romalade sauce was also very good. I ordered the Rib Eye with bacon wrapped scallops. It was ordered medium rare but was served medium. I thought about sending it back but it wasn’t a great piece of meat so I didn’t think it was worth the hassle. The scallops were fresh. They would have been better with slight more caramelizing. The sauce was watery. The vegetables were quite well prepared.

Overall food was decent but not a "wow we are definitely coming back.". The atmosphere was nice, service was very friendly and prompt. They have an attached bakery next door. Now that was definitely worth coming back for. Delicious!

As always the food is amazing, staff is great, ambiance is great as well. Prices have increased by quite a bit now, and like twice in two years. Its becoming a really expensive place now.

At first when we walked in it was so loud from a combo of people and live entertainment. Our waiter was outstanding and I don't know how he heard what we ordered. Food was very good. The saxophonist started playing something everyone knew and started singing along! My 16 yo sang even though it was an "old person's music"! And then said she felt like she was in a musical and I was thinking flash mob! It made it so fun! People were dancing near the bar! Great saxophonist! I wish I caught his name!

Christian was our server, He was knowledgable and suggested several wines...all were delicious. We had the baked Brie, and the spinach artichoke dip as appetizers. They were great choices. The ladies had salads one wedge with shrimp and one blue cheese with salmon the smoked salmon is exceptional. We had the chicken sandwich with truffle fries... and I had the ribeye sandwich with sweet potato fries. We had a great time and never wanted for anything Thank you Christian!
