Had a great Valentine’s Day dinner here this evening. Would highly recommend for the drinks and especially the chicken farm! Outstanding. Server and staff was terrific too, will be back!

MSS makes pasta fresh every day. Delicious menu choices paired with a solid wine list makes it hard to pick what to eat but the good news is that every choice is a good one.

Lovely Saturday night dinner experience. Had to wait about 25 minutes for our table but the place is small and was hopping. Food was good - desert was amazing! Save room for the cheesecake meatball...trust me on this one.

Wasn't happy seeing a 3% surcharge on the bill. Service was rushed. Food was literally dropped down without asking do we need anything else. Grated cheese, fresh pepper and a clean set of utensils would have been nice. Never got cheese or pepper. Food was cold by the time we got utensils.

Due to work and travel schedules, we celebrated Valentine's Day early this year. We were greeted warmly and seated right on time for our reservation. Our meal was delicious! We both enjoyed French Onion soup as our starter. I had Pappardelle Bolognese and my partner had the Rigatoni with Prosciutto sausage. Both entrees were delicious, served hot and nicely presented. We split the Cheesecake Meatball for dessert. A wonderful experience we'll repeat again soon!

My hubby and i just had THE best meal weve had in a long time at Main Street Social in Libertyville. I went off the Lake County Food Festival/Restaurant Week menu, he ordered off the regular menu. OMGoodness! Every course was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly done. No pix of the butternut squash soup or chopped salad but they were wonderful. I had no idea they have been there for 8 years. Definitely our new favorite! #mainstreetsocial

Mainstreet social has discovered the perfect level up or ingredient to celebrate a successful four year marriage. Polenta is an authentic Italian dish, of boiled cornmeal. Cream is whisked in amongst other flavors. Making for an explosion of flavor, that complements an already perfectly seasoned Skirt steak. The garnish is colorful, flavorful and bursting with it own unique texture and flavor. Highly recommend the Skirt Steak truffle polenta, peperonata, crispy onion, saba dish. It’s a gem and begs to be followed by their divine bread pudding. Hints of butter scotch, top shelf vanilla bean ice-cream. Small yet effective bits of pineapple……Leave you satisfied, and longing for more. Again, my lovely friend agreed to partake. However, she once again, left me to consume all this goodness by my lone self. Thank you again MainStreet social
