Legendary chef Daniel Boulud created his namesake Maison Boulud to reinterpret French classics. At his downtown Montreal restaurant, artisanal Quebecois products and local ingredients are used to craft modern dishes.     The service staff was outstanding. The welcome, the hospitality, the attention, the explanation of every dish, and the warm attitude of all staff was really wonderful. The food also was excellent in presentation and in combination of flavors. The escargot and the Madeleine dessert or my favorites. The lamb was good, but in my opinion, it was cooked too much, I would have liked it to be more red, and I did not really enjoy the coffee flavored juice of lamb. The wine pairing recommendation was very good. The ambience of the room inside was nice, but I think the room with the glass, would have been nicer. But there were no more available tables. If you have the chance, book early and try to get a table in the glass room Overall, this was among the best service I have ever received, even close to a Michelin star restaurant

    I’ve celebrated many birthdays at Montreal, but this experience was absolutely the best! From the food to the service, everything was impeccable, and I can’t praise it highly enough! A special shout-out to our server, Thomas, who took the dining experience to the next level. He patiently walked me through the menu, helping me understand each dish clearly. His service was incredibly thoughtful, polite, and attentive. He knew how to engage with guests, offering warm greetings and making us feel truly welcomed. It’s clear that he has a genuine passion for his work, and it truly shows. After the meal, my friend and I were chatting, and we both agreed: Mont Lau deserves a Michelin-star-level rating. The quality of the food, the ambiance, and especially Thomas’s service were all exceptional. Please pass along my heartfelt thanks to Thomas—he made the entire experience unforgettable! I will absolutely return and will recommend this place to all my friends and family. In fact, I’m even considering staying at the hotel next time—it’s that good!

    Comme à chacune de nos visites, ce fut une soirée très agréable par la qualité et l'originalité de la table , du service et de l'ambiance calme et relax à la Maison Boulud . Attention appréciée , le stationnement avec valet est inclus au service. On y retourne car le prix en "vaut la chandelle" selon l'expression populaire

    I have been 3-4 Times at Boulud for brunch. I’ve always been very happy with the service and the food is very good. Will definitely go back soon!
