Mama Yo is located on Camden Street in Dublin 2. The menu, which blends traditional Chinese recipes with a contemporary twist, has been created with sharing in mind, so is perfect for groups and family style dining.
With an extensive menu covering dim sum style small plates and an array of mains and sides, come prepared to make some tough choices!

The stunning interiors of Mama Yo, featuring two full sized trees in the middle of the dining room with bespoke silk lanterns, create a magical and enchanting effect, adding a layer of far eastern exoticism to your dining experience.

The restaurant is also extended with a fully roofed and heated Terrace for Dinning or private hire.

Our Roast Duck is subject to availability and must be pre-ordered a minimum of 48 hours prior.

Food is over priced and lacking quality and taste. €28 for beef and black pepper, I would exposure vegetables in the dish but only had onion and the odd piece of pepper. The rice portion is a joke, a 3rd of a very small bowl filled with rice for €3.10. The other diner ordered vegan tofu in black bean sauce, both our dishes tasted the same. The vegetarian spring rolls at €9.90 were a joke, 2 spring rolls cut in half to make it look bigger and no dipping sauces. The food came out very quickly but I’d rather it took longer and tasted better. I was left thinking Mama No not Mama Yo

Family of 5, 5 starters and 5 mains, 1 bottle of dreadful Chateau La Coste wine, was €315.00. Chinese food wasn't great. Like a Chinese restauarant take away from the 1980s. Just too bland. Excellent service.

Nice decor, nice staff but unfortunately i wish i could say the same for the food. At the premium prices the Sweet & Sour Chicken should be a delicious crispy chicken with a nice sauce, instead it was barely crispy with a tasteless watery sauce. I have had better in the local chinese takeaway! The starters and dessert were nice but the staple dishes like S&S chicken should be better for those prices.

Food was bland & lacked a punch of flavour. Had to send back 1 main as it was cold & was tempted to ask to change for a different dish as it was tasteless & sorry i didn’t, also 1 rice portion was cold on top but hot on the bottom. We were seated beside the pass so was a lovely location & was good buzz but when you have such awesome choices of Asian food from Opium, Big Fan & even Neon within 700m I wouldn’t be going back

The food was really good, but it didn't quite match the price. The raspberry cheesecake was amazing, and the service was awesome, everyone was super friendly.

Starters very good, main courses nice. Main issue was very blunt waitress who made the experience feel quite rushed. Also they do not have takeaway boxes to bring extra food home which seemed like a terrible waste - had we known this we would've ordered less. Nice ambiance and setting
