Mama Yo is located on Camden Street in Dublin 2. The menu, which blends traditional Chinese recipes with a contemporary twist, has been created with sharing in mind, so is perfect for groups and family style dining.
With an extensive menu covering dim sum style small plates and an array of mains and sides, come prepared to make some tough choices!

The stunning interiors of Mama Yo, featuring two full sized trees in the middle of the dining room with bespoke silk lanterns, create a magical and enchanting effect, adding a layer of far eastern exoticism to your dining experience.

The restaurant is also extended with a fully roofed and heated Terrace for Dinning or private hire.

Our Roast Duck is subject to availability and must be pre-ordered a minimum of 48 hours prior.

                                                                                                Service was very poor. In addition, the XO sauce accompanying the salt and chili tofu is not vegetarian despite being on the vegetarian menu.

                                                                                                Overpriced Chinese food, we tried 8 different dishes between us and it’s nothing to write home about. Also, might be the smallest serving of rice with the main dishes, which for the price makes no sense. I don’t think I would go back for the food- there’s fantastic Asian cuisine available either direction along that same street. Interiors are cool and the servers are friendly, but that’s about it.

Unfortunately the food was bland, beers were warm and flat, service was superb but you can’t blame the servers for the lacklustre food. Ambience was ok. Wouldn’t return and would not recommend.

                                                                                                While the food was fine the service was poor overall. Very inattentive staff, no clear system of who was taking care of our table and communication between staff was lacking. Difficult to order drinks and to get the staff's attention. The portions varied greatly, some of the main courses were similar in size to starters that were ordered. The food tasted nice was wasn't particularly good value. €9.10 for a side of broccoli is ridiculous. The decor was interesting and we enjoyed the space. Probably wouldn't return as there are many restaurants in Dublin where you can enjoy great food and service for that level of pricing.
