   We had an amazing meal, the meatballs were incredible and so was the pasta and the steak. One of the best meals I’ve had in Nosara and a very friendly and professional staff.

   For a start Google Map will bring you outside a non discript building that looks like an office building with a ton of tiny signs. One of the tiny signs says Mamagui. If you are lucky to notice it and drive into this complex of buildings there are no more signs. The waiter looked amused when I described the lack of signage. Apparently they know and don’t care. Seating is oversized metal tables and chairs that sit around Patio. Looks like you expect a performance to take place. No such luck. Waiter are barely trained. Seem very laid back. We got there when they opened and 3 items were already not available. One of which was the tuna shashimi. Which showed up after we had ordered. And the chef sent that anyways. And that alone made the visit worthwhile. The tuna with tangerines literally melted in my mouth. The arancini was bland. The meatballs were good. The bass entree came was served as one piece of bass in a puree. Nothing else!! Dessert chocolate loose tart was neither moose nor Tarte. All of these were presented in pretentious arrangements on pretentious dishes. Overall. A very strange uneven evening. Amusing but not entertaining. Lot of unmet potential. Go if you want a pizza. For some reason every place in Nosara specializes in pizza. This one does too Go figure.

   Fantastic experience here. Some of the best food in the area. The staff is super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend! Love the pizza!

   La atención estuvo muy bien, el salonero Ronny estuvo pendiente de la atención. La comida me gustó, probamos unas pastas y estaban frescas, los ingredientes estaban muy ricos .

   Another outstanding and delicious meal! For those of you who haven't tried the lamb & beef meatballs starter, order it next time. The wine was crisp and cold, the risotto special for the night, perfect, the sea bass, and that chewy fresh foccacia....we can't wait to go back!

   I never start a restaurant review commending the staff but that’s where this one will begin. I must say this was the most welcoming and genuinely nice staff I have encountered in a long while. From the receptionist to the waiter to the bus boy and the owner, we felt like we were with family. The courtyard ambiance is beautiful and really special. Sadly it started raining shortly after we sat down and they had to move us under the portico. Still it was very nice. Oh, and the food was great too. We had a mix of pizzas and salads and we thoroughly enjoyed them. Definitely recommend Mamagui. It was a little hard to find as we didn’t see a sign at night and it’s behind a building. So use google maps.

   Mamagui is the best restaurant we’ve experienced in Costa Rica. The pasta was fresh and flavorful, the pizza perfectly balanced, and the focaccia was out of this world. The service was outstanding, with Nicolas, our waiter, being incredibly helpful and attentive. If you’re in Nosara, this spot is a must-visit for amazing food and a memorable dining experience.

   Our food was good. But our meals were delivered so ridiculously! Two diners were finished with their meal for 15 minutes before the third entree came out. We were not charged for that entree but it really put a damper on dinner. The delightful server kept apologizing but the meal did not get delivered. The place was not worth the aggravation.

   We apologize as a matter of kindness. Accordingly to your writing " our meals were delivered so ridiculously" as well as you order was quite confusional. Elegantly, we comped for the order "mistake" but I have one question, mistakes misunderstanding may happen what I am not aware is your bitterness and why you may prefer to act as an Ancient Rome censor. Life is beautiful. Bottom line, we apologized, you've been comped what else......
