Not the best experience. Food and service was not up to par. Good wine though.

The worse Italian I’ve ever eaten. The bolognese was so watery and oily we had to return it. The meatballs tasted like they were frozen. I doubt they were made onsite. Even the coke we had to return twice… once because it had another soda mixed in, and again because the next one (after they bled the line) was flat. The aesthetic of the restaurant was cute - still decked out for holidays, which was fine by us. But the live music was loud with an incredible amount of reverb on the system, so that unfortunately impacted the ambience. And the server did her best, so no fault on the waitstaff. Truly the food was the biggest source of frustration and the reason we would never return.

We always love Mambos! It’s become a regular spot for us now. We really enjoy the staff and the food.

This will unfortunately be our last time dining. We've been three times altogether. One time was good, another time was so-so, and this time was the deal clincher. Service was slow, food came out fast, but the lobster risotto dish that was $40 a plate had no lobster in it. Manager, who waitress said was named Pablo, was supposed to come to table but never did. They took $10 off the bill, but really it should have been at least half since the main ingredient was MIA. Food all tasted the same and risotto dish was served within 10 minutes or less from order, at the same time as appetizers, and a good risotto takes much longer to prepare.

We enjoyed another delicious meal with great service at Mambo Italian Street Food. The entertainment by Charley truly makes it a unique experience for us. It's what draws us to this establishment as opposed to anywhere else.

This was second visit. I had hoped it would be great because it's so convenient. First visit was just okay so we decided to meet friends for dinner and try again. Won't be going back. This place needs to decide if it's going to be a bar or a restaurant or what the heck because clearly it has an identity crises. The live "entertainment" was loud and not enjoyable, was it karaoke? I'm not sure but it did not add anything to the ambience. There was a clearly inebriated neon vested person grinding to mustang sally in the middle of the restaurant which again, did not add anything to our $120.00 dinner. The service was not good. We asked for our check and gelato for dessert. After 20 minutes we had to chase down the server for both (there were approx 4 tables occupied in the whole restaurant). This could be a great place, but it's just not and I don't think we will be giving it another opportunity.
