Jason was our server. He was quick and efficient. However, he was not a conversationalist and he made us feel rushed. He did present the house specials and did make recommendations, but there wasn’t much conversation to be had and was checking on us quite frequently. At the conclusion of dessert, he just brought the check, which made us feel like it was a subliminal message of “get out.” Our entire dinner was 75 minutes long and that included appetizer, salad, bread, main entrees, and dessert. As for the food itself, we’ve had better. The bread was chewy. The calamari fritti was quite good. Very tender pieces with a nice crisp served with a flavorful marinara. The filet was dry and overdone, despite it being pink in the middle. I don’t think the issue was so much the cook, but more the cut. The Gorgonzola mashed potatoes were good, however lukewarm upon service. My wife got the shrimp and scallops scampi. The scampi sauce was a bit odd as it was smooth yet curdled so it was a bit lumpy. The lobster risotto was a disappointment as well. Very bland and the lobster was a bit overdone with very little flavor. Our entire experience warranted a 2/5 stars.

Went early, so they weren’t busy. We’re seated immediately, and drinks were ordered. Food was incredible, I had Lasagna, excellent, salads were delicious. Everyone was happy, with everything. When paying I was amazed at the price, not cheap, but a great value, for what we got. Wine prices were reasonable, and I would definitely go back.

Longtime customer of this family’s various restaurants and this downtown location did not disappoint. From the entry greeting to our exit, all facets were flawless. Service was excellent, food was abundant and exceptional, drinks were poured properly and all created a great experience and value. Highly recommended.

Great place for dinner. Drinks were great, food items were mostly good. Highlight was definitely the corn and bacon chowder. Some dishes were just not exciting but overall it was a great experience.
