The Mangiare Story
We trace our roots to Republic Chophouse, Green Bay area’s premier steakhouse and standard bearer of fine dining in northeast Wisconsin. Located just down the street from each other and under the same local ownership, Mangiare and Republic are sister restaurants that offer the best dining experiences north of Chicago.

We use only the freshest and most authentic ingredients for the offerings on our Mangiare menu. Featuring balsamic and oils sourced directly from Italy and breads from specialty bakeries, our chefs create intensely satisfying dishes that match the level of service which sets us apart.

Our attention to detail and commitment to excellence holds true regardless of whether your taste for the evening is classic Italian fare in a family-friendly atmosphere at Mangiare or steak in the unpretentious, yet fine dining environment of Republic.

My server, Sami, was an absolute delight. When I asked how the tomatoes looked for the cause salad, she didn't guess but instead went to the kitchen to see for herself. I ordered the Bolognese which was both delicious and nicely sized. Wrapped my meal up with 2 scoops of gelato that were exactly what was needed as a palate cleanser.

Everything was perfect - from the ambiance to the food and service. This restaurant has the best vegetarian options for upscale dining in the area. I will definitely be back.

Food was excellent. Server was very good. It was busy so a little slower than usual. Everything else made up for it!

Service, appetizers, main course and deserts were all fantastic! Sara was our server, she is such a delight. Great night out for our group of six. Highly recommended Managire. There filet is delicious!!

Our waitress was totally inexperienced. The service was terrible! When we asked her questions about items on the menu she gave inaccurate information or said she didn’t know. She also did not know anything about the wine, which isn’t acceptable in Italian restaurant. One special was supposed to have king and snow crab. I found one tiny little piece. The manager removed the charge but it was very disappointing. Also the vegetarian dish which was squash pasta came with 3 tiny pieces of pasta. No squash. The meal was taken away after we found someone to send it back. We received a replacement. Very disappointing! The prices have gone up significantly. You can no longer select a sauce, pasta, and protein. Will not return.

A great evening! Maria was our server and was fantastic. Food was amazing. The only disappointment was our dessert. We were super excited about the limoncello cheesecake that was made in house but when we got it it was frozen and just tasted like cream cheese. Otherwise everything was delicious

This has quickly become one of our favorite spots. The wine selection is great without being overwhelming. The food is wonderful. The service is fantastic. We go here as often as possible!
