Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. Local artwork hangs throughout the Tavern’s many rooms and a mural adorns a main wall, a nod to the eclectic and vibrant artistic community of Old Ellicott City. The result is a unique and memorable atmosphere unlike any other.

Our Head Chef strives to use seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, including herbs and vegetables from our farm. Our distinctive menu is highlighted by a custom-built brick oven for neopolitan-style pizzas and more. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

We proudly serve beers from Manor Hill Brewing, Howard County’s first farm brewery. Manor Hill beers are hand-made on our farm using original and unique recipes. The result is aromatic, hop forward farmhouse style beers.

Food and service were excellent! Noise level was high but it was St. Patrick’s Day weekend and the town parade that day; so it was expected! It did not take away from the awesome food and service!

Great historic location and enjoyed brunch menu items. Service was great and food arrived quickly. A little loud but seated next to large party (10 adults). Portions were smaller than expected but adequate. Quality and delicious food.

The service was fabulous with a friendly, responsive team! The pizza & tavern burger was delicious and of course the Manor Hill IPA!

We love eating here and usually make reservations, knowing they get very crowded on weekends. Love the food and the staff, however if I had my choice I would like to have a bigger table for 4 people. 3 of us get a pizza and there’s barely room for drinks or the 4th person’s meal. It seems on weekdays they save booths for after 6 pm, and I know they’re trying to seat as many as possible, just it is a little cramped having 4 people at a small square table.

It’s always nice here, however next to our table there was an old smell but otherwise really nice visit. Our server was amazing and full of energy and the food was delicious.

The hostess was pretty rude to us when we brought a stroller in indicating they are not permitted (I can’t see where it says this on open table so not sure how I would know). The stroller collapses to a car seat so it could fit into a high chair if necessary. She also reprimanded me for making a reservation for 3 people when we had two babies and said it should have been made for 5 people. Food was great, server was sweet. Would still come back just WONT bring my stroller!
