Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. Our bar and dining areas feature original architectural elements such as exposed stone walls, barn doors, and vaulted ceilings. Local artwork hangs throughout the Tavern’s many rooms and a mural adorns a main wall, a nod to the eclectic and vibrant artistic community of Old Ellicott City. The result is a unique and memorable atmosphere unlike any other.

Our Head Chef strives to use seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, including herbs and vegetables from our farm. Our distinctive menu is highlighted by a custom-built brick oven for neopolitan-style pizzas and more. We serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

We proudly serve beers from Manor Hill Brewing, Howard County’s first farm brewery. Manor Hill beers are hand-made on our farm using original and unique recipes. The result is aromatic, hop forward farmhouse style beers.

Dinner was delicious. Menu consists of casual fare. Pizza and wings were delish! Service was excellent l!

Very good spot in historic Ellicott City for an informal lunch or dinner. And their own good beer.

We had a team work lunch here and really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. The buikding itself is gorgeous and you can tell it has been lovingly restored and decorated. We loved the Maryland State Fair app (very unusual but delicious!) and the mozzarella sticks. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was very good and very messy. The mac and cheese side was solid. Other people in the group ordered the butternut squash pasta and salads, everyone was happy with their meals. Service seemed to take a little longer than what I'm used to, once we ordered it just took a while to get stuff. But the servers were very polite and the drinks were good. One note, I'm not sure how wheelchair accessible this place would be as we had to go up stairs to the dining area and the tables are fairly close together. Also the parking lot is across the street but that entrance is one-way out, you have to overshoot Old Columbia Pike and turn left on Hamilton instead to enter the parking lot.

The food, the service, the ambiance all excellent. I will be going back soon and I highly recommend this place.

Always so happy with our experience at Manor Hill. We got to sit by the fireplace, and the room was relatively quiet. The food was fantastic, as expected. And our server Keely was absolutely lovely. Had a great experience!

Always great drinks, a great meal and amazing service. The only complaint is that the lights over the pizza station were super bright and shining right towards our table. Might want to rethink the direction of them. Otherwise, as usual, a great experience.

Second time dining at Manor Hill and it just wasn’t great. My oysters Rockefeller were cold in a way that suggests they were prepared from frozen, Al pastor tacos were inedible because the pork was dried out. My husband’s burger was undercooked. Just overall, not great and likely won’t come back
