Food is fantastic!! The only downside was being ignored by 4 staff at the front desk when we arrived. Just bad form.

Great room with a touch of old world charm. Think "The Forge" Miami Beach meets TO hip!. Great menu and best Rib Eye I've had in Canada to date.

Great cocktails. I had breast of veal...delicious. The rest of my party had hamburgers which were excellent. Grateful they accommodated my request for seating where I could hear conversation as it was very noisy (Sat. night). Not so crazy about sticky toffee pudding. It's just cake with some sauce drizzled over. A nice mound of sweet stodge with dates and nuts is the real deal.

I live in the neighbourhood but this was my first visit to the revamped Maple Leaf Tavern. First, I love the renovation! It looks great-cozy and inviting, tasteful and classic. Cocktails and food was great. It was my husband's birthday but we didn't say anything specific to our server. But because the servers are so attentive, she obviously picked up on this and put a birthday candle on his dessert. Nice touch! He was also given a birthday card! So many restaurants have terrible service and obviously don't train their staff well, but the staff at the Maple Leaf Tavern are top notch and this makes all the difference between an okay dining experience and a great one. Will definitely go back again and recommend this place! Loved it!
