   Best sea bass I've ever had. It was so buttery. The ambience was fantastic. The sunset was spectacular. The violist was incredible. Loved every minute. Definitely going back. Highly recommended. Siobhan

   🌊 Had an absolutely magical dinner experience tonight with my wife at Mar Y Vino in Puerto Vallarta! Imagine dining with your feet in a shallow pool while watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. The unique "pool dining" concept combined with panoramic ocean views made for an unforgettable evening. Those white carved chairs are actually IN the water - such a creative way to keep cool while enjoying fine dining! We were welcomed with a tropical drink before being seated, and we were treated to music from a fantastic soloist who created a wonderful mood all evening long. The unexpected fireworks display over the beach was the perfect cherry on top! The food was absolutely delicious (lobster for my wife and bacon-wrapped shrimp for me) and the portions were just the right size. This has to be one of Puerto Vallarta's most unique dining spots. Talk about dinner with a splash! 💦 And yes, our feet stayed prune-free throughout the entire meal - though we wondered if the same could be true for the staff. Thanks for the recommendation from our friend. And thanks to Mar Y Vino for the first class experience. Without question, tonight’s dinner venue was one of the highlights of our Puerto Vallarta vacation.    What a nice place to have have a meal in front of the bay! The place , the view, and the food… my Chilaquiles, the bread and the De La Olla coffee were great. And Ivan, our server was very attentive but discrete. Next time I will try eating on the water mirror. Yes, eat with your feet in the water. Totally recommend !

   After a recommendation from our daughter who dined here earlier this year, my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here the day before we left Puerto Vallarta to head home for Christmas. Mar Y Vino exceeded our expectations with their food selections and beverage choices. We selected the Peruvian ceviche, Rockefeller oysters, crab enchiladas, 3 taco sampler, and fresh sashimi. For beverages, I had a yummy Poseidon (non-alcoholic), and my husband tried their Mezcal Teauila selections. For dessert we had the guava tart. We regretted none of these selections. Aside from the food, the ambiance was stunning. We sat rooftop, in the water, overlooking one of the most beautiful sights in Puerto Vallarta. We will definitely eat here again when we are back in town.
