The food was very good. The ambiance and the service, not so much. We were seated inside, so this review does not consider the outside seating. The interior is quite pretty. We were seated right away and in one of the most desirable booths. The issue was lighting. Tye restaurant was as bright as an airport and perhaps twice as bright as the hotel lobby. They didn’t seem to think anything of it, so I’m unsure of its normal. After ordering, we waited a full hour + for our dinners. The restaurant was busy, but it shouldn’t have been overwhelmed. The food was, however, fresh and quite good. Upon paying for our dinner, the waiter informed us if the included 15% service charge and made sure to state that he only gets 5%, so we should add gratuity. It was quite odd. That said, the waiter was kind and I’m a generous tipper in general, so I did add to the gratuity. Bottom line, the food was good, the restaurant was convenient and the waiter was nice, but the value was lacking due to the ambiance and wait. It was also the only disappointment among our experiences at Conrad.

Don’t waste your time or money ! We had an awful experience, as there is a disconnect between the english translation on menu and what is being served. When we explained that the fatty piece on meat was not the steak we ordered the manager literally came out and argued that it was. We finally got her to allow us to get a burger off the kids menu, very disappointing experience.

Walked in and the smell of rotting fish was overwhelming. We were the only people in the restaurant and there suddenly seemed a lot of pressure for us to order our food… the head waiter came back 4 times, agitated that we weren’t sure yet what to pick. The menu is organized in a way that was difficult for us to to understand. Finally we asked why the rush and he said a big table had arrived and he wanted our order in before theirs. That seemed good… but when we had questions he absolutely pushed us into ordering more food that we said we wanted. Then one roll actually never came so we told the server to please make sure it wasn’t prepared because we already had too much. That server went to the sushi chefs who said it wasn’t even on the order. We were happy and said great! Next thing we knew we were told the roll was coming as a gift. No! Didn’t want it. The sashimi was so disgusting. Very obviously defrosted dish, chewy, almost fuzzy. Shame… and I want to add that A) we never saw the head server again—he just focused on the big table, and B) that extra roll was on our bill!!! We couldn’t wait to get out of that place! Such a shame because we love sushi.

Food was ok. Burgers were not cooked to the temperature requested. Ordered a glass of wine - there wasn’t much wine left in the bottle and the waiter said he would come back with another bottle to top me off but never cqme back. Risotto was overcooked. Chicken was very good, and tuna crudo was good, as well. Service was just ok, but ambiance was great, beautiful space.

Loved this place. The best of several others we tried while staying at the Conrad Hilton. It was the first meal where we felt like we ate and it was worth it. Our server Jose was wonderful. Highly recommend.
