   We came here for a nice a Valentine dinner and it was one of the worst experiences I have had in any restaurant. The hostess was extremely rude wanted to sit us by the bathroom and when we asked to move she was super rude and aggressive. When she sat us down at the new table she says to us “you have one hour” no customer service whatsoever. The waitress was nice but failed to ask if we wanted another round of drinks and when we ordered our appetizers she said you need to order dinner as well as the kitchen can’t handle an overload of order. I was left speechless. Our Caesar salad came out and omg the worst salad ever if I wanted the core od the lettuce head I could have stayed home and ate it for free. The salad was sour and the hearts of the lettuce were all mixed in. The sad piece of bread that came with the salad was burnt. We were so disgusted by the food that we couldn’t even stand to order desert. When I told the manager that her food and staff were horrible she did not care. Do not go here unless you want bad food and service.

   Could be due to higher than normal volume but no one ever topped up our water during our 60-minute lunch. Food was great as usual.

   Love coming here! I think it is the best pizza in Vancouver! They were REALLY busy today, a bit noisier than usual, but it was fine.

   Great food, great service & loved the vibe! We showed up with kids, not dressed up as it was a last minute decision and we were welcomed all the same. Thanks for having us, we will definitely be back!

   Great food, 5 of us shared a Pizza, Colzone and 2 wonderful pastas. More than enough food and we left with a doggie bag.

   We had a reservation at 7 for an important dinner and we were seated at 7:40. I was really frustrated and disappointed. It threw off the whole night. I will be hesitant to suggest Marcello’s in the future for our family celebrations.

   Marcello is a gem! The food is authentically Italian and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive throughout. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    We had an early reservation to take advantage of happy hour, were served one drink, the waitress took our food order and she never came back, nor did she make eye contact. We had to waive down another waitress to order another drink. Our waters weren’t refilled the whole time we were there, there was a service with a light brown pony tail that filled up one tables water, but didn’t think tk look around and offer others water — the table beside us had to ask her for water, she never even looked up to see we needs water as well. We were disappointed with the fact that the restaurants prices on their menu were quite different to what Open Table had for their menu, the chicken Parmesan was $28 on the OT menu and it was $38 in the restaurant!! HUGE difference. The plate of pasta my wife had was $28 on Open table and $32 on the actual restaurant menu she had the seafood pasta and there was one prawn, maybe 3 tiny mussels and empty clam shells and no clams to be found, there was a few of those baby octopus which are not attractive there was however about 10 small cut pieces of calamari, definitely not worth $32 - we won’t go back again as the prices are high, we are retired and just simply cannot afford these prices. We weren’t offered any bread with before or during our meal We let our Itallian server know they should update their Open Table menu prices. Also their happy hour menu had wine for half off a bottle on certain days, but they offer that anymore, cut it off the menu then, half of it is erased off at the bottom of the menu so why leave the rest there? My husband had pizza, he said it was good, this is why we had rated a 4/5. It is an open concept restaurant with very high ceilings, so it’s quite noisy, one of the people we were with is quite hard of hearing and we had to keep repeating what we were saying. All in all the restaurant is okey. But not worth the prices they are charging.
