   Food was absolutely delicious, our server was very helpful with allergy concerns. Slightly loud but was also a very busy night!

   We were a party of 4 and none of us had been here before. I was a little skeptical of the menu structure but once there the servers explained it and it actually is a really interesting way to mix and match smaller entrees. You can also have anything on the menu as an entree. The food and service was fantastic we enjoyed everything. The deviled eggs were crazy good!

   Really nice new restaurant with what they call flights. Instead of one main plate you get three smaller ones. Fun!! Just what you always want to do at a restaurant taste three or four options.

   We had a Saturday brunch at Margeaux Supper Parlor. There were lots of good choices. The food was tasty. The service friendly and efficient. And, the atmosphere pleasant.

   The point of making a reservation is to have a table when you get there. We had to wait for half an hour to be seated. Beats the purpose… The place is nice with nice decoration and ambience. It’s a little on the loud side, but it was packed, so I guess a quieter night would be better. We loved the ambience overall. The food was delicious. We were a little confused by the food selections. I guess they tried some modern French twist on the tapas concept. We ended up mixing various food collections, so I didn’t see the point of the “food collection idea.” It’s smaller portions and you get to taste more things. Great, there is a name for that and the origin of the idea is from Spain :-). The food was delicious. Possibly the best oysters I’ve had in a while, the lamb chops were superb, the halibut was great, the lobster gnocchi was also great, the lobster bisque was very tasty (although not too warm). Overall the culinary experience was very good to excellent. I think with a simpler normal menu structure we’d have had a better experience. Even with the “food collection” concept we had a great dinner. Service was mediocre at best. It was our first time there so explaining the food collection idea (which can be violated in all possible ways, so what’s the point???) in a very noisy place from an inexperienced server did not add to a romantic dinner. Nevertheless, everything arrived timely and was eventually explained and understood fine. Overall, we liked the place and we’d go back. Fix your reservation system please and I might be on the minority but I didn’t really see the point of the food collections. It’s a new place (I think?) so I’m sure service will improve with time. I loved the ambience of the place and I’d visit again in a quieter night.

   Both the food and service at Margeaux Supper Parlor were excellent. The experience is unique in that the menu consists of recommended food flights (3 smaller dishes selected by relationship). There are multiple flights (e.g., fish, meat, etc). The diner can opt to create their own flight selecting across offerings or choose to order one dish in full entree size. The are also wine flights available for each food flight with the 2 oz wine tailored to individual dished in the food flight. All in all and enjoyable and very unique dining experience.

   My son took his 85-year-old mother (me) out for new year's day brunch. Enjoyable ambience, great service. The buffet was interesting, but not too fresh, as we came late: B+. Courtney, who waited on us, as well as being very kind and efficient, was lovely, and had a delightful sense of humor: A+. We would certainly go there again.

    Swordfish was amazing! Also loved the creme brulee and seasonal drinks.
