This was our first experience at Maria’s Cucina. It will not be our last. We were greeted at the door in the most friendly way and directed to our table. Next, we met our server, Dereck. He was amazing, friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were very good. We were thrilled to see an ample parking lot for this restaurant.

Our waiter was great except for the fact that he didn’t mention prices for the specials. We ordered two of them and they both cost way more than the menu items. The bill was ridiculous.

Perhaps the perfect place to enjoy truly authentic, Rhode Island / Italian-American culinary masterpieces. My wife and I stopped in for a date night, and to our delight, were blown away by how great this place was. Their ingredients were perfect, thier EVOO was excellent, smooth, fresh and balanced, with a light green glow, pefect for mopping up with their just-right crusty italian bread to start things off. My Nana, God rest her soul, may be upset with me because I liked their Braciola entree, as much as how I remeber hers to be (sorry Nana). The Braciola rested upon a perfect-sized dollop of Polenta with the perfect consistency and creaminess. The tomato sauce/gravy that blanketed atop the Braciola/Polenta was perfectly balanced, perfectly portioned, and infused with the Braciola's goodness, and was also just as good, if not better than my Nana's was. Our server was super courteous, friendly, informative and attentive. The setting/atmosphere was everything and more than as advertised. I could keep going on and on. I'm not a person who typically leaves reviews, but this dinner experience was so good tonight, and the food was so tasty, I thought it appropriate to give Maria's what I intend to be a great review, and strongly recommend dining here often !!!

Every single item we ordered was perfection! The calamari, the beet salad, fish special, the raviolis, side mash potatoes and the dessert (bread pudding) was the best I have had! The service was excellent. My only issue was that once my friend and I were done eating, we stayed a bit catching up and celebrating her birthday, a waitress kept coming every couple of minutes staring at us ( all the tables around us were empty)!
