Riccardo and Marybeth welcome you to their 3rd property, Maribella Ristorante. Opening R Wine Bar & Kitchen in 2018, and Vespa Catering and Brix Wine Bar in 2022, they have created a culture of hospitality for guests who feel like family. Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and moved to Boston when he was 5-years-old. He stayed in the Boston area for college and attended Tufts University. Marybeth, born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, moved to Boston to be a nanny and went to Somerville School of Nursing. The two met in Medford, MA, dated and became engaged in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999, Riccardo and Marybeth have developed a reputation for making people feel welcome with their three boys, Dante, Berent, and Jaxon. Together with their hand-picked team, Riccardo and Marybeth bring the best parts of hospitality to life in their restaurants, for both their staff and guests.     Maribella is truly a gem! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The setting was warm and inviting, with just the right blend of elegance and comfort. Our server was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel like we were their top priority. The drinks were perfectly crafted, with unique flavors that showcased creativity and skill. As for the main course, every bite was perfection—delicious, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. And then came dessert, which was nothing short of heavenly. It was the perfect sweet ending to an already delightful experience. Maribella exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an extraordinary dining experience!

    We had a beautiful evening! I order salmon often, but this was easily the best salmon I had ever had! My husband thought the same. The gnocchi on which the salmon was served was beautifully done, and the cream sauce had just enough spice. The caramelization on the salmon was perfect, and it was thick enough to have been a pork chop! Our server was an absolute delight! My husband had pistachio gelato as a dessert and absolutely loved it !

    Our server Lucas was outstanding. Our friends are light eaters and ordered a salad to share and so he also suggested that they might want to share the entree....he was right! Worked out perfect for them. The lobster pasta and monthly special, chicken cacciatore were wonderful. Lucas recommended the perfect wine for our entrees.

    The environment was very nice, very up class, nice Christmas music for this time of year. Staff were very friendly and laughing with me. The food was on point and very tasty! The wine and drink selection was perfect! And I want to say thank you to our waitress Grace! She was very knowledgeable, funny and patient. She helped me pronounce the foods and explained the taste of the foods compared with the wine. Grace came back to check on us and helped us put some good food and wine combinations. It’s always good to laugh and have a good time with your waitress or staff. Grace made it feel like we were family at Christmas dinner. 10/10 for the restaurant, definitely go and experience what I experienced tonight. And for Grace, 100/100 thank you for a wonderful night! (She Said Yes). Slip of the tongue lol

    I had my birthday dinner at Maribella and it was an amazing experience for me and my close friends and family. Our server Madi was so attentive and friendly - so helpful too! Highly recommend for your next special occasion!

    We will recommend Maribella over and over again forever. The service is probably the best we've ever had. Not to mention, the food is outstanding. We continuously request Brit because her knowledge, attention to detail, memory, and kindness are unmatched. Jackie, the hostess, is amazing. We have met the owner a couple of times, and it's no surprise they have multiple businesses that are so successful. Management is top-notch. I seriously couldn't run out of good things to say. We have been coming to dine with them since the first month they opened and will continue forever. Our first weekend away from our toddler and staying out downtown Sioux Falls and Maribella was the highlight. Last night, we got our usual - the short rib and the lamb chops. Perfection. There are so many other good things on the menu, I always have difficulty choosing, but I'm never upset with my choice! If you haven't tried them, you need to.

    Great food and great service. The restaurant is a great spot for a special meal or to gather with friends or if you want some great food. It never disappoints. Service staff are well trained, knowledgeable and friendly. We love going to Marbella.

    The food is always great, service was impeccable. My only complaint is the noise level, but we also knew it was loud before we biked the reservation.
