MARISI is one of the best restaurants in the La Jolla. However, it continues to perfect it’s craft. The whole Bronzino fish is to die for. It is excellent with a zing to the topping. The short rib pasta is also delightful. However, the half chicken (and presumably the whole chicken) disappointed. It was rather difficult to cut. I would recommend more of a rotisserie approach. Or a piccata or Francese type whereby the heat is sealed inside and the chicken is piping hot. Altogether, it was a great evening with a great service from Max and his assistant Nik.

Marisi is a 10/10 experience, every time. Perfectly curated brunch menu, attentive and friendly staff, DELICIOUS bloody mary’s and great variety of dishes. The best in town!

The food was delicious. My friend said it was “the best gluten free pasta she’s ever had”. My agnolotti was delicious. My only complaint is that I was still hungry after I devoured it. Just a slightly larger portion would’ve made this a 5-star review.

Never complain about service but this was poor. So slow we had to go to the front desk to request a server. We sat for over 30 minutes after receiving our drinks before we went and said something. Soured the whole experience

Went with 3 friends. 2 of our pasta dishes came out cold. Another friend ordered the swordfish and it was undercooked and cold as well. Food was overpriced for quality unfortunately.
