One of the newest food halls in town, Market Place Vauxhall is located in an old tunnel directly under Vauxhall train station, just a short walk away from hallowed ground of The Oval Cricket Club. The Market brings together 12 of the best authentic street food traders in London, including:

    Amazing venue, great staff. Highly recommend! Went for a birthday celebration and was very easy having everyone choose their own food and drinks!

    When we arrived our table reservation had been lost, and it took quite a while to find a member of staff who could help us. When we finally made contact with the manager he was very helpful and secured us a suitable table. Thank you to him.

    Very confusing as no tables were reserved and nobody was able to check us in as a booking. However food and drinks were lovely as expected. Would have just hoped to have had a reserved space for us to make it a bit more welcoming :)

    The arepas at Streat Latin Arepas were out of this world. Well stuffed, well seasoned, great flavor, and the texture of the arepa was wonderful. I look forward to going back!

    Es valioso que haya muchas propuestas gastronómicas aquí, variadas. Algunos de los platillos que probamos fueron decepcionantes, la mayoría estándar y uno sobresaliente. El servicio es bueno.

    I visited in a Saturday morning for an early lunch with a group of young teenage girls as part of a birthday trip who absolutely loved the food ambience and live cricket on the Tv screens ! The service was excellent and the manager also surprised us with a birthday cake. We will definitely go back and tip is to pick a quieter time before it get busy!

    Tasty food choices. Friendly vendors. We were told to order drinks from the QR code on the table, but each time we did, the bar staff hadn’t noticed the order come through and we had to go up to the bar. It wasn’t clear whether we were supposed to have collected them or had them delivered to our table. As it turns out I think other people were just ordering from the bar anyway? To order food we had to go up to each different vendor and place our order. Me and my daughter were eating sell different vendors and I went around ordering while she kept our table and looked after our bags. Consequently we spent a lot of time apart- which hasn’t been the idea of our meal out. The food was delicious and the vibe was good, but the ordering needs a rethink. Maybe all orders could go through the QR and waitress service could deliver the food or at least bring over one of this electronic alerts which I did get from one stall. Maybe it’s better after the first visit when it’s clearer how things work? The toilets needed a tidy. Would go again of course, but it did feel like hard work. Maybe I’d have a takeaway next time?
