   Spend your hard earned money at another place… They will rush you out with the check The food is mediocre They seem to favorite tables and check on other tables more frequently

   We had been here before and this meal did not disappoint! The drinks were yummy and the entrees delicious!! Our dessert was also very good but the fruit could have been cooked a tad longer. Our waitress was sufficiently efficient but could have had a bit more table side manner. All in all, it was a wonderful evening!

   We had a reservation at 7 PM. The moment we were seated, we were told that kitchen was technically closing at seven and we would have to order everything right at the moment. Even while we were eating main course we felt rushed. There was absolutely no reason for any of that. Dinner is not just feeding oneself, but it’s an experience. And when it comes to experience, this was mediocre experience. Food was great and service itself in general was good.

   The best restaurant in Stockton. The food is always amazing. The vibe is nice but not upscale. The food though... I always go to Market Tavern when I'm in town, and it's always a highlight of my trip. Last night we went there for Thanksgiving. I didn't know what to expect. Different menu than usual. We both had the Turkey w gravy, walnut stuffing, cranberry sauce, etc. The first course was a choice of 2 salads or butternut squash should, which the wife ordered. I didn't know I liked butternut squash. We both thought it was perfection. Fresh pie & ice cream for dessert. Everything was excellent. We both feel so lucky we went!!!

   My family and I have always enjoyed this place. Their menu, service and ambiance all always top tier. We have never been disappointed and it is always an option for a night out and special occasions.

   They hosted Thanksgiving and everything was extremely well performed, from the drinks to the "traditional" turkey dinner, I've never had a plate of turkey (with all the trimmings) quite that good. Last year I went to Robin's Restaurant in Cambria for Thanksgiving, and I thought that was the best ever. So now I need to have these two dinners side by side so I can make a fair comparison. Which of course will be very hard to pull off. Nice job MT@STKN!

   Everything was GREAT….not the pecan pie…did not taste like “pecan pie” …heard surrounding tables say the same
