   Food was great, service very attentive, this issue is the value of what you got was a bit over inflated. The hot plate "schtick" was a bit much, overall, it's good but I won't be back.

   Can get same food at a lower cost. Ordered oysters Rockefeller, and it needs to be made with fresh spinach, butter, could barely see or taste the oysters themselves. Lamb chops were good. Asparagus was good. Dessert was delicious.

   This was a disappointing visit. My wife had crab cakes and they were all filler. I don't think there was more than 1 oz of crab in either cake. I had a shrimp cocktail and two of the four shrimp were not properly deveined so I had to clean the rest of the vein out before I could eat them. The broccolini was stone cold and had to be sent back. For the prices they charge, it should be fabulous, but it wasn't even close.

   Very loud once it got full. Prices are quite high. Still, they charge $5 for bread. Portions are pretty large.

   I've been to Mastro's more than a dozen times over the years. I can't say that it's the food that brings me back. What compels me to come back is the energetic vibe and the people watching. The dinner that I had most recently was just ok. The Caesar tasted like a Caesar but the Romaine looked beat up and sad. The crab cakes were a bit mushy and tasted like they ran out of lump meat. On the upside, the server was nice and the place was full and had a lot of energy.

    Every single thing was awesome! Our server Kenny was the best! Food was delicious and atmosphere was lively. Expensive but worth it…get a “Smoking Martin”
