    Mark was the standout to our dinner. His knowledge of wines and all in all everything about the menu was stellar. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were outstanding. The Brussel sprouts especially. Would recommend 10/10

    I booked this restaurant for three colleagues that were travelling. The morning after, I was told that they were treated like second class citizens because one of the party members was wearing a hoodie. Regardless of dress code, they were not told of the dress requirements when they arrived, it was only after they were seated and then promptly IGNORED by staff. One member of the party had to flag down a waiter and was THEN told of the dress requirement. I understand having a dress code, but this was a reservation made from someone not in the party and the proper time to tell someone that they cannot wear a hoodie is at the front door, NOT when they are seated at a table being ignored, leaving the person in the improper attire to be embarrassed in front of his colleagues. I will NOT be recommending this restaurant in the future, not because they have a dress code (which is their right), but because they treated my colleagues poorly and embarrassed them for no reason when a private conversation could have avoided such a situation.

    I visited Mastro’s New York on February 22nd for a special celebration, expecting a high-end dining experience. Unfortunately, poor service and mismanagement turned what should have been a joyous evening into a frustrating and disappointing one. Our party was seated early for our reservation, yet it took over 30 minutes to receive our drinks. When they arrived, the server couldn’t identify or explain the difference, leaving us to figure it out. A mix-up resulted in one guest drinking from the wrong glass. Instead of handling it properly, the server removed the drink despite our sanitation concerns. When we escalated the issue, the General Manager’s response was dismissive. He suggested we switch drinks—even after we’d already tasted them—raising hygiene concerns. To make matters worse, when the replacement drinks arrived, the General Manager spilled mine on my guest. His response was lackluster, offering no real apology. As time passed and our food still hadn’t arrived, we decided to leave and asked our server to cancel the order. Instead, we were given the runaround. Moments later, the food arrived anyway, and given our hunger, we stayed. However, the earlier missteps had already soured the experience, and the food reflected the lack of care—the lobster mac and cheese had clearly been sitting too long, and the fried rice was underwhelming. Thankfully, two managers stepped in toward the end of the evening, showing professionalism and a genuine effort to improve things. They provided excellent service, checked in frequently, and did their best to make up for earlier mistakes. Their attentiveness was appreciated, but the damage was done. As someone who has visited Mastro’s across the country, I expect a high level of service. This experience, however, fell short. While I appreciate the managers who stepped in, the poor leadership and service throughout the evening ruined what should have been a memorable celebration. I hope Mastro’s takes this feedback seriously.

    Our server, Sebastian I think his name was He was very attentive. The live music was phenomenal The Food AMAZING they serve great portion Not too little not too much Definitely a 10/10 experience I will be bank My boyfriend loved it as well

    My birthday experience at Mastros was amazing everything was top notch From the service to the live singer it was truly amazing me and my family had A great time will definitely be back best birthday I ever had .

    Always fabulous! The atmosphere, the service and food are always spot-on. There’s way too much food (haha) and I can say I have never left hungry. They pour an amazing martini.
