On Dec 26, 2024 my Wife , Father and Sister met for lunch , we meet here often. I ordered french onion soup and after about 8 or so spoonfuls I ended up with a strand from a kitchen scrub brush in my mouth that had been in my soup. Quite disgusting and dangerous. The server was very apologetic but at that point what else could she say. I was offered something else which I declined. My lunch was knocked off the cost of bill and we received 10% off the other lunch meals ordered but the whole event was a turn off and we will have to put a lot of thought into whether we return

Our server was great, good was fresh, hot and tasteful. This is one of our favourite spots for easy dining. We will continue to visit this spot.

Food and service was average. We were not offered any water. The Southern Chicken + waffle taste fine but the waffle was soft and not crispy, it lacks favour and whip cream.was not offered. We asked for one Steak & Eggs be medium and the other medium rare but they were both medium, eggs should be over easy but they were well done.

The lettuce wraps tasted funny. The server was really great about it. Will return for the service. Not the food

The food at Match Eatery used to be good but the quality has gone downhill. There was overloading of salad dressing and sauces. Typically, salad dressing comes on the side but not here. The chef or someone other employee put on way too much dressing that made the salads soggy. One person asked for no onions in the beef dip but half of it had onions in it. The manager was not sympathetic or accommodating at all and didn't even apologize. She just said that they braise their beef with onion. That should have been mentioned when ordering as the person specifically said "no onions". The manager just made excuses. We were very dissatisfied with our entrees and there was no compensation or apologies at all. The manager seemed like she could care less.

Awesome food. Amazing service. Great atmosphere, the food was very well prepared and the service was really on point. Our orders were taken with efficiency and drinks were not empty for long if at all.
