Have been there many, many times and the experience never gets old. It's one of the very few places that we keep going back to. While we enjoy trying new places and experiences, when we want a fantastic meal, great drinks (Jimmy makes the best margaritas), and friendly faces, it's really hard to...um...Match. As a foodie, I really appreciate fresh ingredients where the dishes allow the food to stand out without egregious sauces or overpowered spices. They are always flavorful without being overbearing or masking the dish you are ultimately paying for. I don't want swordfish with my sauces or thick, chewy pizzas. I don't want steak that is seasoned to mask the fact that it has been stuck in the fridge for several days. Match hits the mark every time. Octopus that is lightly seasoned, tender and perfectly grilled. Salads with fragrant greens and light dressing that add dimension, but aren't pronounced. And the steak for 2 was absolutely killer -- again. Highly, highly recommended. See you there.

Truly unique Caesar salad presentation and scrumptious Butternut squash ravioli with a crunchy nutty sauce. The service was absolutely outstanding. Next time I’ll book earlier so we won’t have a 5:45 table. Thank you!

Great bartender made perfect manhattans and our server was awesome. Food was tasty and the guy at door is always professional and super friendly and accommodating.

We love Match. Carbetbagger oysters are to die for! Delicous smoky Manahttan cocktail, yummy pear salad, overall delicous food. Consistently one of the best in Fairfield County.
