   My friends and I had an enjoyable time together over brunch at Matchbox in McLean. The service was attentive, the food was plentiful and delicious, and we were encouraged to enjoy a leisurely meal. The noise level was such that we had to strain to hear each other for a time, but it settled down as the peak brunch time passed. I have had only good experiences at Matchbox and I recommend it unreservedly.

   The pizza was very good. Everything else was just average. The ice cream tasted like it was twice frozen. The seafood pasta tasted a bit fishy. The server was very friendly and professional.

   Great to have this place in McLean! The chili was amazing. We would dine here much more often if open later on Friday and Saturday. We often drive to Tyson’s after events since this location closes early.

   First time at the McLean Match Box, but a fan of the Mosaic and downtown DC locations for several years. My sister and I were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and seated in a booth as requested on my Open Table reservation. Our waiter was also very friendly and attentive without interrupting our conversation. We shared a simple salad, which was divided in the kitchen as requested. The pizza order of half one kind and half a different one came out at a good time and was delicious! We'll be back because we enjoy Match Box, we weren't rushed and it is great to have another Match Box closer to where I live.

   It was incredibly noisy during our visit. Pizzas were undercooked, cheese did not caramelize properly.

    Food was mediocre at best and the service was slow despite the restaurant being fairly empty. I’ve done at this and other Matchbox locations, and the Mclean location is not the greatest. It’s not worth my money.
