   The experience over all was very good. When I first arrived the staff asked if we had a reservation. My response was no. So they informed us that there would be an hour wait. We went to open table and and there were openings in 15 minutes, so I placed a reservation and notified the staff and was told “well we are behind so you’ll still have to wait” luckily for us, it seemed that a large party failed to show and they reconfigured some tables and sat us right away. The food was good, portions were fairly large and the wait staff was friendly.

   We had a great brunch! The Bloody Mary was so different and really yummy. We had the steak & eggs and chilaquitos - both very yummy and cooked well. Service was good and not too overwhelming, we were able to enjoy our meal without waiting to be served but also without being interrupted often. It was rather noisy but not bad. There are many things on the menu we’d like to try - we’ll be back!

   Went for restaurant week! It was very busy but the food was amazing! The tuna tartare & curry catfish was the highlight of the night.

   We visited Matt and Tony’s for the first time because of Restaurant Week. Although it was too loud for our taste, it was an excellent experience because of the food. We were impressed with the appetizer choices and selected the tuna tartare, beet salad and shrimp ‘n grits. Loved our entrees: filet tips & tots, curried catfish and gumbo. And the meal ended with warm brownies and the sweet potato doughnuts - delicious! We look forward to returning.
