   We had a wonderful dinner at Matthew’s Steakhouse. The cocktails were excellent and the steak cooked perfectly. Service was outstanding with Devin and the owners could not be nicer. Highly recommend!

   The cheese plate and bread plate are TOP NOTCH ! I could eat that and go :) The filet was meh. Surprised for the price. But we didn’t get any steak toppers so maybe that’s why? Not sure. But the ambiance and service was great!

   This was my first time dining at Matthews since the ownership change. While the service and ambience are still excellent the quality of the meat was not great. I had the 18 ounce ny strip and, while it was cooked perfectly, it was very chewy. My guess is the meat was not properly aged as the menu states the meat is angus which usually means good quality. If this was Angus and had it been properly aged it would have eaten totally different. Given the prices they charge I am hoping Matthews addresses the issues with the quality of their steaks sooner than later. The rest of the food was good but when you are a steakhouse the steaks should be the shining star on the menu.

   Food was delicious! Staff was amazing! Everything was a bit pricey, but worth every penny. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

   Nice local & upscale restaurant for the city of Winter Garden. Food was prepared well. The service was excellent. Good atmosphere. I had the Strip steak and it was one of the better steaks that I have had in a while. Be prepared to open your wallet. The prices for food & wine are on the high side. For a special occasion, it is worth it!

    Food had strong charred taste to everything. Nice ambiance, waiter was also bartending so not too attentive but his server assistant was very nice and helpful as well. The chat taste really did bring down the overall food. You can tell it’s good quality , just overly charred.
