   My husband and I have been going to Mattone since it opened, Biba's before that. This restaurant never disappoints. All I can tell you is every dish we have ever had there has been beyond expectations. Also, Gigi has to be the best server in town. At least she has our vote. Don't miss out if you haven't been. I have had people come from the East Coast and want to share this restaurant with their family members.

   Enjoyed the meal. We have been here many times and it never disappoints. The gnocchi was excellent and so was the pork chop!! We definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants an elevated dinner at a reasonable price

   The service was excellent. Food was delicious, and time between courses was not rushed. Our server was a joy and made the experience great. This is why we keep going back.

   Wonderful food, service and ambience. Noise level is comfortable, you can easily chat with table mates. Great for a date night or a special occasion or “ just because!”

   The pasta is fresh, homemade in house and nothing short of A-MA-ZING! We shared the laaagna (best that we have ever had!!! We also shared the Ravioli of the day. DELICIOUS! Mattone is hands down the best Italian restaurant in the region (I drove down from El Dorado Hills) and it was worth every minute/mile it took to get there! Locally owned, staff that have been with Mattone for years, and consistently awesome!

    Welcoming and friendly staff. Mattone salad and lamb lollipops were excellent. Our son loved the lasagna.
