Matt’s is always a joy. I always come here when I’m in Seattle because it’s a staple. The menu is local and seasonal, always perfectly executed and an amazing time had by all.

Been dining at Matt’s for decades. A few years back we had some mid dinners and we stopped going until a couple of years ago we tried again and were pleased to know that the folks at Matt’s have stepped their game back up and we have not been disappointed ever since. Keep it going

Matt's is a charming venue - we loved the atmosphere. The service was very good by all who were working the tables. It's very expensive for what you get and know that the menu is small/limited. The cheapest glass of red wine was $20 and the cheapest bottle was around $95 (I think). Even though our party ordered 8 drinks in total, we were charged for two soda waters that were not refreshed throughout the meal. The scallop entree was good but is $65 for just THREE normal sized scallops - that was a shock - in our experience it's typically 5-6. Bread must be purchased separately, etc., so just noting that it is expensive for what you get. We'd go back and stay away from entrees or each get a salad and share an entree.

Staff is great in remembering you and making you feel welcome and not rushed. Lunch was superb and even had enough on the menu to satisfy my guest who was allergic to fish and shellfish --along with not wishing to eat pork. Staff accommodated her with grace. Probably one of the more sophisticated places to eat at the Market, Only slip was initially giving us the wrong bill which they caught moments later.

Great view of the market. The food was terrible. I ordered the chicken sandwich. The chicken had the texture of a hamburger and was rubbery. The sandwich also had carrot sticks on it, which was not listed on the menu. The potato salad was decent. My friend had a green salad which came covered in blue cheese which was not listed on the menu either, and she said the flavor was terrible. We requested separate tickets, and they still gave us one ticket to pay. I paid the bill just so we could leave. Expensive meal that was terrible.
