    Our first return visit to Matt’s in many years. Vibe in the restaurant was still great. Service was friendly and responsive, but robotic and a little cold. Food was good quality and well prepared but our entrees were lacking flavor and were kind of uninteresting. Next visit will just be a drink at the bar.

    Excellent staff around the room. My date was late, but rather than make me wait (as some other Seattle restaurants do - looking at you, Shaker and Spear), they sat me at the bar until she arrived - at which point they offered to move us to a table, but we decided to stay at the bar because the bartender was awesome, and we were having a good time. The food was also fantastic - it seems unfortunately rare to find wonderful service paired with fantastic food these days, but as usual, Matt's did not disappoint.

    Half circle windows frame the Pike Place Market view to create an ambient setting. Our meal was delicious, this time we didn't have to wait long to be seated for our reservation. Service was great!

    Matt’s in the Market is, and always has been one of my most favorite places to take people visiting and exploring Pike Place Market for lunch. It’s albacore tuna sandwich is unmatched and arguably the best sandwich you find in Seattle

    It’s been many years since I’ve been here but I brought a friend visiting Seattle. It was even better than I remembered! We had an absolutely delightful evening here - sat by a window overlooking the market and had an incredible dinner. Drinks, appetizer and the seafood stew were so delicious! Service was also fabulous. Highly recommend!

    We love this place. We live in the area, and we come to Matt’s for special lunches (dinners are pretty pricey and are fine but not spectacular for the price). The views are iconic. Deviled eggs and the chips and dip can’t be missed. The fishwich is a favorite choice, as is the potato salad as a side. I got the wedge salad with shrimp, and it was generous with shrimp. Great dish… except that next time I order it, I’ll get the dressing on the side. It was significantly over-dressed. That said, I’ll come back over and over because it’s a fantastic spot!
