This was my second time at Max’s. It’s a great, casual breakfast spot. Food is pretty basic but the ambience is pretty cool and retro inspired.

Booked a reservation at Max's for brunch and the whole experience was AWESOME!! The food was sooooo yummy!!! I'll think about those cheesy fries forever ha!! We went on a Sunday and they had a very talented live band playing!! The atmosphere was so fun. Lots of great spots for pictures too. Everyone who worked there was so kind & very helpful. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone!!

Had a great lunch on Sunday. Staff were very accommodating when there was a glitch in Open Table with my reservation. The food, drinks, service and ambiance make this one of my favorite spots to get breakfast/brunch/lunch in Lancaster!

Everything was lovely. Server was bubbly, drinks were fabulous. Definitely would return. The love music was the cherry on top!

It was amazing there!! the food was immaculate, the service wasn’t the best, but my friends and I were glad not to be interrupted. it was pretty cheap especially for a group of teens, I will definitely be going back there!

I specifically asked the waitress about the contents of two of the shakes (sweet cakes and wake and shake). It was listed under “fancy junior varsity” and only “varsity” was listed as containing alcohol. She was only able to describe the one shake and said she had no idea the contents of the other. For the one she did know, she did not make any mention of alcohol when describing the shake, so I ordered the shake. I am pregnant, though you can’t tell yet, and obviously avoiding alcohol. The shake came and I thought I tasted alcohol so I waited to confirm before drinking any more. The waitress did not return for 25-30 minutes, despite my friend’s drink being empty pretty quickly. When she finally returned, I asked to confirm about the alcohol and the waitress was extremely rude, saying the menu clearly states their is alcohol in my shake (even though there is no description). I said it was not clear on the menu and said “it is actually but that’s fine” with such an attitude. The food runner and host were awesome and very nice. The food was good but based on the rudeness of this waitress I definitely won’t be returning.

Great atmosphere and delicious food! Our server was amazing! The live band even sang Happy Birthday to our son! Loved it!
