   we took 2 children - 9 and 11 for a holiday treat. I remember going to Maxwells in Hampstead over 50 years ago and how much l enjoyed it and last night it took me right back . The food and the atmosphere were really good and we had a great night.

   We have a brilliant time. The food was delicious and the portions are a good size. We were a group of 7 with kids and the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend

   Our first time dining here and we will definitely be back. We were seated very quickly & service was very good. The food itself was amazing - tasted great and served hot, no waiting around on the side getting cold - and the price was good, especially for London. They also do a lunch menu and happy hour so it was rude not to try a cocktail too! For us, the music was a little too loud, but that wouldn't put us off returning - but just worth noting, if you're looking for somewhere very quiet.

    Great restaurant with good vibe. My only reservation would be that I don’t think it’s a good idea to serve a child’s meal on a red hot iron skillet.
