I was really looking forward to coming to this restaurant and had it planned for quite a while for myself and a group of friends. It was really quiet and the food came relatively quick. Three out of four of my friends found their meals to be underwhelming. They said it was okay but not the best they’ve had. My flatbread appeared to be really good when I got it. Once I was eating my second piece I spotted something white on the end of it as I was bringing it to my mouth. I looked a little bit closer and there was a white FEATHER cooked into the flatbread. I put it down and told the waiter about it. They were really apologetic and even sent the manager over. I had completely lost my appetite and was so grossed out that once they offered me something else I just said no thank you. I was really disappointed with Maxx’s. I had high hopes and I don’t think it’s at the level it should be at. I was so severely grossed out I will not be returning.

Had a great bfast meeting there this week. Great view out over lake, service was great, food good and quick, and you could have a conversation. Really good experience.

What made our experience so delightful was the servers: Ilana (lunch) and Conrad ( dinner). They are both just delightful, helpful, thoughtful, courteous and thorough (attended to the fact that we are celiac). Thank you!!

Booked this venue for the purpose of enjoying brunch not realizing that the brunch is over at 12 which is pretty uncommon. We decided to stay and order from the lunch menu, unfortunately it was very disappointing. Flat bread was nothing special, veal sandwich which was a signature item wasn’t anything special, the healthy option salad had no taste and the red cabbage leaves were old and didn’t taste good. I was expecting a better experience considering the place it operated by Peter and Paul’s which are amazing in the hospitality industry. It was an experience but I wouldn’t go there again. Staff were amazing

Dear Guest, I am so sorry,but we don't actually have Brunch at Maxx's Kitchen.We serve breakfast until 11 am on the weekends, and then we switch to the Lunch and Dinner menu.I am sorry as well if you found the meal to be disappointing. Our server and hosts were very friendly, as this was my dad's and my first time eating at this restaurant. The food and the drinks and the atmosphere was so good, we'll come again with the family or friends someday.
