Welcome to McClain Cellars - Laguna Beach! We are a “hip” modern industrial luxury tasting lounge that is a cross between a New York “Soho” music venue and a “Napa Valley” tasting lounge. This is not an ordinary winery by any means.

Featuring a 16-foot glass garage door, skylights, and a shaded patio, McClain Cellars brings the beauty of Laguna Beach into the tasting room. Along the bar, you will find artistic wine bottles with unique paintings on each. Each of the wines has a clever name like, “Summer Breeze,” “Love & Happiness,” “Promise Keeper,” and “Faithful Friend” to name a few. With the capacity to host up to 49 guests at once, this quaint venue offers free parking, easy freeway access and flexible hours. The tasting lounge is in the HIVE at 849 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, CA next to Kitchen in the Canyon and the Laguna Beach Beer Company.

No matter where you sit, you will have the best seat in the house to enjoy our featured musician while sipping on some stupid good wine. Choose from one of our personally crafted wine flights, including a monthly charity flight. You can also enjoy wine by the glass or bottle, along with our gourmet air popped popcorn and selections of meat and cheese. *Please note Live Music is only available from 5pm-8pm Saturdays and 2:30pm-6pm Sundays* **Reservation does not include wine tasting**

Fabulous service and wine. Great place to visit on a Sunday afternoon to taste great wine while listening to live music.

This is a very small venue. A group of ladies went to support the band that was playing. The parking g was difficult as it was during g sawdust festival. They were short staffed to accommodate the customers but Lucas still.made us feel special. The product pricing is on the high end. It will be a $$$ night.

I hosted an event at McClain for my alma mater, and it went fabulously well!! The staff was very helpful and accommodating, even being flexible in letting us stay after closing (which they already extended for the event). The wine is top tier quality, and the space was comfortable to enjoy. Our event got rave reviews, and one reason for that was the hospitality and McClain!

There was nowhere to park. There was a lot dedicated to the restaurant immediately adjacent to the restaurant with a few open spots but the attendant would not let us in despite our reservation. He said that the owner of the parking lot instructed him to close it. This was at 5:00 pm on a Saturday. There were no other spots available along the street and the restaurant did not offer valet parking. Life is too short, and there are too many other choices, for such inconvenience.

Amazing wine. Friendly service. Beautiful location. What more can you ask for?! Oh, and buy the popcorn. You won’t regret it!

Thoroughly enjoyed a few wine flights and gourmet popcorn. Service was fantastic! Don’t think the glasses were ever empty. The added bonus was the great entertainment with Triple GGG.
