   It's a very tiny steak and that's why you get another. Salad was a yawn. I get the concept. Temp of the steak was fine but with so many great restaurants in the city, I don't need to come back. The best feature was decent parking for free downtown. Service was fine. Fries weren't that great. I won't be back. Nothing wrong with it but it's just not for me. Server was very nice.

   I made this reservation for my friends and I. The service was 10/10, FOOD WAS 10/10, and the energy was 10/10! I would definitely recommend this place for big or small parties, they are so accommodating and I definitely enjoyed the fixed menu choices, and that they were on top of keeping the mimosas flowing! A must try! I will be going again for sure!

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at Medium Rare Steakhouse, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for a great meal. My server, Denise, was truly a standout. She was incredibly sweet and attentive, making sure that my dining experience was nothing short of excellent. She offered great recommendations and was always nearby to refill my drink or check if I needed anything else. The pre fix menu is straight to the point, i made it for brunch so there were a few more options. Each bite was a delightful experience, and I can confidently say that this is one of the best meals I’ve had in Houston. If you’re looking for a fantastic steakhouse with amazing service, I highly recommend Medium Rare. Thank you, Denise, for making my evening so special! I can’t wait to return

   I had an amazing experience here. Food was amazing, our waitress Alex was super nice, and for my birthday they brought out a small ice cream and some shotsss! I will be back!

   When we got in, we were seated immediately and that’s because I made a reservation on OpenTable. We received water and bread immediately, but we literally had to ask who was our waiter. The place was so busy. Daniel then arrived and coached us on the menu on the brunch menu took our order took a drink orders, and the day was started, the music in the place was pretty good general 80s and R&B music on a radio and not live or anything like that. The place was packed a mixed crowd mixed age group mixed racial denominations when our food came we were all pleasantly surprised. Steaks were good in the various items that we picked, but the steaks some steaks were like pot roast and others were like steak flavor was general. It was OK. It was very edible and we all took our food to go extra food to go home after sitting there for a while and conversing with each other another waitress came up and offered us free shots if we do a Google review and we all did that and we got free lemon drop shots, that’s around 3 o’clock. That’s when the ambience started to change. It became more loud and party like all in all it was good. I would go back for a casual steak and eggs brunch breakfast.

   I'm a little shocked by all the positive reviews from people who also went tonight for Valentine's Day and had such a differing experience from ours. Especially the ones who had the same server and described them as attentive. The atmosphere: It's incredibly loud. The tables are all in rows, so you're sitting right next to other guests. When we came for our reservation, not all tables were full, and it still felt very crowded. The service: I asked for lemon twice, and I never received it. (Both times I was told yes right away.) We asked for more bread (ours was burnt), but we never received it. (We were told yes, right away.) Our server bumped into our table and us multiple times when they were talking to the tables next to us. Their butt was often level with our table and bumped into our table several times. I tried to ask about cocktails, but the server just nodded at me and said there were several. Others have described having their server recommend a cocktail, etc. This was very much not our experience, and I never got to order a drink. The service seems to be very hit or miss. The food: I was really hopeful for the food given some of the positive reviews, but it was very disappointing. Our salads weren't that great. They were soggy and not crisp. Our bread was burnt. The sauce is very watery and just not that impressive. The fries were overcooked. The steak is cold, tough, and very peppery. My first serving was actually okay. However, my date's was very tough. The difference in quality in the two portions was very noticeable. Our second steaks were very peppery compared to the first. Something positive: parking is surprisingly good for the area. I do not recommend this place for any sort of special occasion. You'll run the risk of being greatly disappointed. (Unless you somehow get lucky and have a totally different experience for no reason.)

    Don’t be fooled. Just not a good restaurant… -Had a reservation for two and was told by the hostess of a “time limit” to eat upon arrival. -Ordered a beer and the glass came slightly more than half full. -Containers of food sitting on floor. -Employee did not wash hands before exiting restroom. -Simplistic menu is kind of cool. But not that cool if your only product is no good. - We got our steak which comes sliced and sauced. I realize that this is probably done to mask the chewy cut that had no flavor. It was also every bit of room temperature. - A server then came out with a second serving of steak and fries. This is part of the gimmick. The issue here is that the server came 11 min after the first serving. I asked if we had to take it at that point or could they come back. He said we had to take the food at that point. Conceptually, it’s a cool business idea. The place just totally misses the spot.
