We had a wonderful dinner, the starters and mains were great. The beef in particular was cooked very well however the black cod was a disappointment. It was dry and smelt very fishy which is not what we are used to. The scallops too did not seem fresh at all as normally they melt in your mouth. The seafood was a let down on this occasion however the beef ribs and the Angus beef were both very good. I would suggest you skip the desserts, the deep fried ice cream tasted like cardboard and the chocolate fondue was basically watered down chocolate with some fruit. The hot drinks again did not taste great, the hot chocolate itself was again very watery. While the service was slow they were attentive when we raised our concerns.

Fantastic food, we had a mixture of Sushi and Dim Sum on this occasion. with particular standouts being the Char Sui pork and the Otoro sashimi. Lovely ambience and enjoyed the Chinese New Year dancers along with fun chance to try on the beautifully crafted headress's! Looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu and sake selection.

Far too expensive paid £230 for 1 person. Which included three mocktails, no alcohol Would only recommend this restaurant for a very special occasion such as an anniversary or a 200th birthday.! you’ve been warned

Such a shame that the music playlist was like a mainstream radio and the smell of burnt frying oil swept across the restaurant half way through our meal
