The name Melina is rooted in Greek origin and derives from the Greek word for "honey". "Mel" can be derived from the name Melissa meaning "honey-bee". The restaurant is named after the daughter of Co-Founder Chef Dimitri Moshovitis. “Melina” will honor the strength of the matriarchy in the Greek family. It will lean vegetable-forward with modernized Greek classics from the sea and grilled meats. Greek cuisine is all about freshness and quality of ingredients and that will be on display in a fine casual setting.

We had a wonderful dinner at Melina! A great place to share a meal with friends and family. Food was delicious!

Enjoyable lunch with excellent wait staff. I had the lamb burger which was good (although a bit too laden with sauce which overpowered the lamb)and my colleague had a salad. We also enjoyed a cocktail.

Be prepared for the noise. Otherwise, outstanding in every way. Certainly, among the best in Montgomery County.

The service was phenomenal, ambiance was warm and inviting while still having individualized personality! Would highly recommend and will return if I'm in the area!

The only negative was we had just been served our appetizer when our mains came out. We felt rushed.
