   Our first time here and everything was great. The place is clean, the service was on point and the food was fantastic. “The Luca” was incredible and in my opinion, a must try. The Pescatora and Chicken parm were loved as well. We will definitely be back.

   We went to Melo's to celebrate a friends 65th bday. Service was great, manager was awesome, made an exception for us I would totally go back there again, and tell everyone they should too if they want a great night out with friends and family!!    Delicious pasta and wine! I see why it’s a hot spot in Walnut Creek! I will definitely return on a quieter night so I can get a full experience with the service. But overall I recommend it, a great place to enjoy with family and friends!

   At lunch it was not busy so the noise volume was low and one could carry on a conversation with ease.

   What’s happened to Melo’s? Our most recent dinner was such a disappointment. From spotty service to unappetizing food, it felt as though they were understaffed and untrained. My margherita pizza looked like it had been assembled by someone’s non-dominant hand, in the dark, and then forgotten about in the oven. It arrived to the table lopsided and burnt. My husband’s pasta special (fettuccine with short rib) was heavy and bland. I urged him to send it back, and he regrets not having done so. I don’t know what’s going on, but Melo’s needs to get back on track. Despite previous positive experiences, this most recent one was so unpleasant that I honestly don’t know if we’ll be back. Such a bummer.

    It’s a fun spot to get pizza or pasta. Salads are quite good a nice size for the side salad. The fig square pizza does not have enough topping s on it. Menu says blue cheese, hackney etc. but it’s mostly bread. That one was disappointing but the mishropm one was good.
