    This was a bucket list experience for us when we purchased a home in Palm Springs and we were blown away by the amazing staff who made us feel like we were their favorite customers. Food was beyond amazing. Best steak I’ve ever had. Thank you for a wonderful memorable experience!

    We were disappointed on so many levels. Our Seabass entree was inedible; super salty with a fish odor that I had to finally send back to the kitchen for the chef to review. My thought was that I (and others) had a bad fillet. The server came back stating the chef said it was ok! I barely could stomach it nor could my husband who had the same entree. No accommodations or substitution was made or suggested. I had my adult kids with me visiting so I wasn’t about to make a scene but it wasn’t appropriate on Melvyn’s part. We were not offered a substitution or compensated. The rest of the family had the chicken pot pie, a veggie dish & the steak diane which was just average. We were celebrating three big birthdays and although I made reservations three weeks in advance, there wasn’t anything special to be had - the ambience is sad - no music or candlelit tables or even a birthday treat. We felt rushed and honestly it just wasn’t fun for the $700 we ended up spending that evening. The venue is old timey 1960s cool but I am looking forward to other restaurants in the Palm Springs area to support.

    Waaaay to loud. Not a fan of the one-sided table seating. Makes it hard to have a conversation. Table was seeing/hearing kitchen as well as much too loud band.

    Our meal was extremely disappointing. Caesar Salad was limp. We had to pay for bread that was mediocre at best. The tuna tartare was served with thick bread ?!?!? The shrimp was ok nothing memorable. It a beautiful venue with great service and history but we were so disappointed with our meal.

    Lovely evening, great ambiance and Peter did an excellent job. Steak tartare came with potato chips? Instead of crackers? The fire desserts were presented in a bowl instead of shallow plate and 4 little plates to share. Way too sweet compared to Brennan’s in New Orleans. Bar did not have crème de menthe? For after dinner drink in the bar.
