A peaceful atmosphere with well-cooked Portuguese food and a fantastic view. We dined on the terrace and it was possible because of the heaters, which made everything more comfortable. We ended up feeling at home.

Location, location! absolutely stunning location, we ate in one the private booths with a window to a city view, spectacular! Service was exceptional, attentive and personable. Food was overall very good, burrata appetizer was outstanding, bread service was great. Wine list is ok, but all the wines were great, we tried 3 of the reds. We all 3 had the the the beef, one Portuguese style the other two people the herbed steak. All were ok, but all 3 were not cooked as requested, not terrible, just disappointing. I would go back but have a better conversation about how I wanted my steak :)

This is an excellent restaurant serving the finest quality food with tremendous flair. We thank them for the energy put into serving up a lively New Year's Eve experience. Unfortunately, as this was a 'surprise' menu, some of the fare was not to our particular taste. This was disappointing as it was not inexpensive at €750 for three people. In fairness, this included unlimited pairing wines. Again, unfortunate for us as non-alcoholic drinkers. Also, in fairness, a substitution was organised when we rejected a particular dish. We totally accept the fare is absolutely at the discretion of the restaurant and that our lesson is to enquire a little more closely about the menu before booking. We wish the restaurant every future success.

What a way to celebrate New Year's Eve in Lisbon Portugal!! I planned vacation in Portugal and wanted to experience NYE like no other. Hospitality Manager Daniel was incredible. It was very easy, responsive communication from interest to after the event. Like-We were running late to dinner, I called to announce and the phone was answered! I was impressed. The entire staff at Mensagem that evening delivered a wonderful experience, you could tell by the smiles and laughter throughout the room everyone had a great time. The food was thoughtfully plated, wine flowing freely and live music was very entertaining and fun! Needless to say it was an experience to be remembered!

Booked our Xmas lunch here as a rooftop experience overlooking Lisbon. The views food drinks and staff were all amazing. They catered well for all our needs and accommodated my husband’s food allergies without any trouble. Overall experience was exceptional and would highly recommend for any occasion. Thank you Mensagem for a wonderful Christmas’s day and one we will never forget.

Two of four dishes were worth the price. Overall lacking seasoning and flavor. Risotto was rather bland. The Octopus was cooked well but again lacked seasoning. The overall service was very good. Maybe just an off night for the cooks.

First, it's a hotel restaurant, and not a destination restaurant. You should only eat here if you are staying in the hotel. neither the food or service or general ambience makes this worth a trip longer than an elevator ride up from your floor in the hotel. The outside area is small and nothing like what the pictures give the impression of. The interior restaurant area has a curious Swedish sauna ambience as there are is a lot of wood panelling on floors and ceiling and this even extends into the bathroom. The service was helpful but not professional. Oddly the menu was only in Portuguese and French, I see many 5 stars reviews from the USA, maybe they are grateful to the staff for the help in translating to English they feel like 5 stars in warranted. The dish, salmon, was pretty average. Not worth the trip. An actual.5 star restaurant is JNcQUOI not 5 minutes away.

My husband and I chose this restraint due to the great online reviews and it did not disappoint! We at dinner out on the patio, overlooking the cityscape of Lisbon and watching the sun set. It was spectacular! The garlic shrimp (appetizer) was the best I’ve ever had. The Sangria was delicious, and we received exceptional service. We will definitely go back here when we are next in Lisbon.
