Our first time at Mercato West. Our server was the best, she was so attentive and very knowledgeable on all menu items and very pleasant. The food was so delicious! It was also fun to see the action in the kitchen!

This restaurant surpassed our expectations! I loved everything we ordered. The quality and portions of the dishes were phenomenal. The ribeye was cooked a little too pink for my liking but the quality of the meat spoke for itself. The pasta was so good too, I ordered the pasta with shrimps and scallops. Everything seasoned and cooked to perfection! The chocolate torta was so tasty too, not too dry and tasted so yummy with the nuts. Everything was complimented so well with the pairings. Service and attentiveness from our server was top notch. Jason was very helpful and suggested a good pairing of wine to enjoy with our meal. Can't wait to return for another beautiful evening to remember!

Mike was wonderful! enjoyed our evening with him. shrimp appetizer was out of this world. could pass on the Caesar salad though. only thing we weren't blown away by! we will be back for sure!

The steak was charred to the point of burnt and it tasted acrid in my mouth, but was told by the server that this is how their steak was done. Service was poor. Took a while to get seated, to get service and when the bill was presented, I waited for 15 mins before getting another server’s attention to settle the bill so that we can leave. Very hard to return in the future

Overall a great place to dine. My favourite celebration place in the city. Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Best ending - Tiramisu!! It’s a meal by itself. Service was top notch. Never had a bad experience in our many visits over the past 10 years!!!!

What a lovely experience at Mercato West! Definitely easier to get to than the Mission location, but the same service and quality is present. Would definitely return to try the pasta range.

My goodness, has the quality of the food ever fallen at what used to be one of our favorite restaurants! Our family split the steak, which we used to love and a good chunk of it was unedible fat. Most of the dishes we got were extremely salty, and the capese salad, which used to be our absolute favorite was wilted, overdressed and overall mediocre. With all of the new choices in Calgary, I highly recommend foregoing mercato until things get "fixed".

Good experience, as expected. Busy night, getting close to Christmas. Lots of get togethers. We were seated at the bar. Restaurant was very noisy. Hard to hear our conversation. Food was decent. Arancini could have been paired with more tomato sauce. Tasted dry and bland. Could have been better value, overall. Second thoughts on making it a go-to.
