Our talented kitchen team turn the very best of fresh, seasonal ingredients into the most delicious seasonal-inspired country cuisine.

Enjoy breakfast or a long lunch by the fire or on one of our decks. Select from an extensive range of local wines as well as local beers and cider.

What a gem this place is. A great blend of dining spaces in a rustic setting. A smallish menu of good dishes (pasta, chicken, steak, burger and vegetarian dishes with a good selection of local owner associated wines. I would go there again.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the restaurant. The service and food were excellent. It was busy but we didn’t find it noisy.

The restaurant was full for lunch, glad I booked. Great food vibe and service. Couldn’t fault it. We will return.

If you're not familiar to the area, you could easily drive past Merrick's General Store, but after having it recommended to us we now recommend it to others. A little pricey, but the ambience and atmosphere is lovely. Charming. Looking forward to coming back in a few weeks to enjoy the inviting outdoor area for a drink from Bailey's bar.

Fresh, flavoursome, beautifully presented meals. Desserts were great, too. It just took a while to get out meals, but it was very busy for lunch.

Food overrated for cost of meals. Very limited menu particularly if looking for vegetarian or healthy options. Wait staff also don’t know about meals as advised us one dish was warm but was instead a cold dish.
