   The Sunday brunch buffet was really poor and borderline disgusting. It was really giving hotel lobby quality.

   It's been awhile since I've dined here at Merrill's I was pleasantly surprised to see that it seemed more upscale than usual. We received a wonderful Bread Basket with corn bread and sliced crusty bread.. My dinner was nicely presented in a metal paella pan instead of the usual large ceramic bowl. And the side of truffle chips was tasty. Our server Jordan was very attentive. Looking forward to our next visit.

   We had dined here preCovid. Menu and vibe was very different. Disappointing menu and drink menu. This was similar to a fish bar experience. Asked for a window seat and got squeezed in between two families. Noisy. Asked for champagne and was served in wine glasses because “there was a party upstairs and they used all the champagne stems.” Champagne was okay. Missed the former experience.

We do unfortunately only have five tables directly in front of the windows, and I am happy that we were able to get you the window table but apologize for the noise as it does get loud in the restaurant when it fills up on a Saturday night.    Two parties in other rooms made for a very annoying experience. Even recored the noise to see if it was me. We love this place but have to make sure next time we go ,there are no parties. Even people left because of the noise .Dining room was empty

   There was a function going on, and all you could hear was the bangining on the ceiling from the dinning room. I would suggest closing the restaurant during functions on second floor. Also there was notable give to the ceiling joists during intense dancing. I would suggest you call in someone to reinforce that ceiling/dance floor.
